Templates section updated
Since my update of the site layout, there have been things missing. One of those is my Free templates section. Believe it or not, but I have got emails, comments and hollar's on MSN to bring it back to life. So it has been done.
I have no demo's up, as those where very popular to try and hack "back then". I have however made som screens, so that you only hover them thumbs and you'll have a tast of what they look like.
As these are free there are no support what so ever. They come with snews.php and everything that is needed. If trouble installing these using FTP, MySQL or whatever, please visit snewscms.com for troubleshooting and/or support as far as snews goes.
The templates that are up are for snews v 1.3 through 1.5. I have a couple of 1.6 templates that will come up when I have time. For 1.7 templates there are no plans at all. I will not make any as things are right now.
There will however come up some "olden goldies" just b'cause I like to. Standalone templates if you will, not prepared for any CMS. And they are old. Might not like them at all, but I will put them up anyway just to compare with newer ones.

Live Chat - Livezilla
Live Chat, Live Help, Live Support, there are many words for the one thing I needed. I wanted to be able to support the paying customers I've got both through email like service (which is the case if I'm not online), but also in a "right now" kind of manner, handson in a chat-function if you will.
Ok, I was in search for something easy to use and maintain, both for me as an operator, but also for the user. I tried numerous software and services. The closest I got to anything similar to what I wanted was chat4support, but that service was on their server and it was only possible to use all features for 15 days... Then the free tryout time was over. Still useable, but not as I wanted it nor not possible to personiliaze.
Somehow I got my eye's on LiveZilla and read about it. Downloaded it and tried it out. I fell in love at once. You download your own server side client aswell as a local operator client (which of course is downloadable for others that is intended to operate your Live Help when you're not there), and the install is made in three simple steps. Upload, make settings, and include script in index.php... And you're off.
If you are in fact in need of anything like this, I urge you to tryout LiveZilla...

JQuery slider using JFlow
Making my way through JQuery plugins I've found another great litlle thingy. Jflow, is a very small, lightweight JQuery plugin (only 2kb) which may be enhanced slightly to be... Well, a tad more eye candy.
As you can see in the coders website, its very basic. But Web Design Booth have made it more stylish and even made it automatic if so requires.
