Glowing Chrystal

Is to be involved in the beta testing of the new snews script, version 1.5. I can not say that I contribute a lot to this new version, but I do test it, and whenever I actually do find something to "complain", hehe, about... I do so.

The most work is made by Luka, of course, and Mika whom has been involved in the process of making this version of the grand CMS, sNews. One might think that this version is going to blow one's mind away, and it most certainly is according to little old me ;).

Now, this said do not in any way mean that the CMS is comparable with mastodonts like Mambo, Jombla or any other of those megaCMS's, it's better !!

Hehe, pretty cocky, eh ? Well, an explaination for this cocky opinion is sNews's mear simplicity. It's lightweight. It's easyness to operate - I say any damn fool can get it up and running within minutes. Yupp, that's right:

W.I.T.H.I.N M.I.N.U.T.E.S !!!

And we shall not forget what a treat it is to use it. Compared with these others "fabulasticly" large CMS's, a newbie (sorry, no offence intended) will master it also within minutes. Don't get me wrong here, I'm NOT in any way backtalking the big CMS's out there, I just think they're too big and to complex for my taste and for the avarge user that have little or no coding experience.

The best thing, despite the things mentioned, must be considered to be the template independency. Now, this little bugger comes with a default layout which is free to use as you please. BUT if you don't like that, there are more to choose from, heck...You can even do your own template... In short: - You're not tied up with a specific look, or HAVE to download skins and crap, it really is totally and utterly template independant.

Luka's back from vacation august 12'th. He's got to look at what Mika's been up to, in some cases fooled by me, hehe.. And then adding the last gentle touch to the web's most delicate creation...And we're off. It's going to be released. The actual time of this occation is known only by Luka and perhaps by the CMS God's... A qualified guess - In the end of august.

Let's all cross our fingers, and hope to die... I, for one, can't really wait no more - I MUST HAVE IT !!
