sNews version 1.5 is a'coming
The new snews version containing some exiting stuff I probably even haven't heard half of, is due any time soon. There is a poll going at the forum regarding what design to attach with the download. As soon as that is decided upon and the final touch has been made the 1.5 version is released.
What should next sNews version have?
There are some functions we already agreed about and will come up in the next version.
* Note that mods and addons will be developed from this point, so we're only making a list of things to be modified or added to enhance usabillity of the main engine.
Some of the new things:
- Breadcrumbs (eg. Home > Design > My Design
- Remove files inclusion on RSS (include- function)
- Reorganize archives to show articles by month and year
- Abillity to change order of menu items and categories [integrated]
- Add an optional layer (div) for individual articles [integrated]
- Sitemap (different from archive cause it displays pages, not just posts)
this is just a few new features added. There will probably be more, but I don't know what they are, so it'll come as a surprise to me aswell.
